If you live in a block of flats, new development or one of Lewisham Council’s housing estates you might receive a visit from one of the Borough recycling advisors over the next few weeks. They are available to offer advice on everything that you can and cannot recycle locally. Did you know household refuse is never allowed, whilst drinks cartons and textiles are, for example? They will also provide you with new 50 litre capacity bags for you to carry waste more easily to your nearest bins.
