The 26th Lewisham People’s Day took place in Mountsfield Park, Catford on Saturday 10th July. The event hoped to attract around 30,000 people and saw 8 stages of music and arts as well as other activities, for all the family. Headliners were ‘The Beat’ and the day saw up to 1,000 local performers involved.
Sydenham Community Radio’s Ashley Cowan went along for us, to experience the atmosphere and talk to some of the people involved.
